Letter addressed to 'Caller Nose Look-out, dated June 1957

The coastguard look-out on Cullernose point has long disappeared, but at one time a regualr watch was kept from there. The envelope contains a guide to identifying 'Stranded whales, Porpoises and Dolphins' produced by the British Museum. Notice that it was redirected to the Coastguard Station.

Letter addressed to Caller Nose Look-out

The only photographs of the Cullernose look-out available to the History Group are from the family photographs of Ella Gregory. However, they only give us a glimpse of the look-out and if anyone has other images that they are willing to let the History Group copy that would be very helpful.

The first shows Ella's father Bill Seager.

Bill Seager stood by the Cullernose look-out.
